Did not feel so hot yesterday after the stem cell harvesting. Yesterday they got 17.5 million, they only need 20, so today they took another 13 or so million from me. Thank goodness that is over with. Not as easy as they say it is, but got through it without my mommy :). When they put the catheter in my neck they check both sides of my neck, so they have to make a little incision, well, that's all OK, but with my cancer, any tape that is used on my skin, just tears it right off. My neck is a bloody mess from the tape taking off my skin. Fun :) Tomorrow they will take out the catheter from my neck and of course it will tear my skin off again. Well the good thing is, I get to go home for the weekend and come back Monday for the rest of the chemo, and then they give me back my new stem cells on Tuesday. The end is in sight. :)
Take care
Rich:)
